His face in the second pic kills me.
When Floyd doesn’t want to walk, he will just lay down and won’t move. If you put tension on the leash, he will grab the leash and begin rolling on his back, thrashing the leash around. If you sit down for a break as well, he will immediately get up, move away like you’ve got the plague, and lay down again.
His tactic on this walk was to get “tired” and lay down. If I held food out, he would race over for the food and have his energy fueled for about 2 minutes before getting “tired” again and requiring more food. That’s what he’s doing in these pictures.
